General Help – Office Trailers

Job descriptionincludes, but is not limited by:

  • Install, Repair and service interior and/or exterior prefabricated products.
  • Wash and wax floor.
  • Wash windows and the interior of the office trailers.
  • Paint the exterior of the mobile offices, ceilings, stairways etc.
  • Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment.
  • Verify brakes and the running gear.
  • Knowledge of the basic practices of the following trades are an asset: plumbing, electricity, carpentry, and mechanics.

Requirements

    Valid Driver’s License.

Yardman – Office Trailers

Job Description – including but not limited to

  • Hand sorting and unloading material from office trailers
  • Clean and prepare materials to be loaded in trailers
  • Place trailers in the yard
  • Ability to operate forklift
  • Cleaning, sweeping, and other housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Complete daily paperwork
  • Maintain communication with crew members while observing details.
  • Comply with company and client policies and procedures.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Monday through Friday 6-3:00.

Requirements

  • Able to work in all weather and temperature environments.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Is able to read and write English or French fluently
  • Walk, sit, stand and climb ladders/stairs frequently
  • Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Must wear all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) required while working throughout facility

Shipper / Receiver

We are currently looking for a team member to join the Shipping/Receiving team located in Montreal, Quebec.

As a Shipper/Receiver, your role will require to receive and prepare rental equipments. As a member of our shipping team, you will ensure that our customer orders have been selected and shipped as needed.  More specifically, your role will be to:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide equipment to customers and provide information related to equipment or tool usage
  • Inspect returned tools and equipment and communicate any damages to the team
  • See to the routing of tools to the mechanical shop, the storage and rotation of the tools
  • Prepare items planned for delivery and pick up
  • Get involved in branch operations (inventory, branch image, etc.)
  • Help drivers and customers load and unload their trucks
  • Maintain a clean working area
  • Assist with maintenance of the workplace.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service (an asset)
  • Attentive to customer needs
  • Meticulous, courteous, and resourceful
  • Capable of lifting heavy loads

Driver Class 1

Description:

-Assist in loading and unloading trucks at the customer site.
-Proceed with the counting of the goods.
-Fulfill Drivers Run Log.
-Manually load and unload equipment.
-Ensure the quality of the equipment.
-Inspect his truck at each shift start and complete an evaluation report to ensure it meets all safety standards.

Requirements:
-Valid Driver’s License Class 1.

Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Main functions:

• Check, adjust, correct, assemble and disassemble any components or systems on motor vehicles
• Do all the preventive maintenance required on the vehicles
• Performs other related tasks upon request.

Requirements

• Have a diploma of professional studies (DEP) in heavy machinery mechanics;
• Have a PEP (preventive maintenance program) card issued by the Société de l ‘assurance automobile du Québec (asset);
• Be able to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems and repair any kind of motorized equipment;
• Possess a class 5 driver’s license that meets the requirements of the Société de l ‘assurance automobile du Québec;
• Knowledge in JCB an asset

Mobile Mechanic

Perform any other related duties requested by his / her superior

3-5 years of experience in repairing Compressors, generator, nacelles, forklift, heavy equipment, electric and gas scissors, electric and gas heaters, tower lights and water pumps.
Hold a valid driver’s license, Class 5;
Bilingualism (spoken and written)
Must have basic tools. To be discussed during the interview.

Small Tools Mechanic

Repair and ensure the proper functioning of small rental tools and those of customers (electric and combustion engine)
Inspects small equipment upon return;
Prepares new tools for use;
Performs regular and preventive maintenance on small engines;
Practical experience in electricity, hydraulics and welding;

Requirements and working condition:
DEP in small engine mechanics or other related studies;
2 @ 3 years of experience in tool repair;
Must read, write and speak French & English;

Rental Representative

Main functions:

-Develop existing clientele in an assigned territory

Solicit new customers for the rental and sale of construction equipment
-Assess client needs and resources and recommend appropriate equipment

Ensure the follow-up of the submissions and the management of the problems.
-Promote the related services of Dickie Moore Rentals (Training, parts and equipment, etc.)

Write weekly meeting reports

Requirements:

Secondary school diploma (D.E.S.)

-Experience of more than one year in representation or demonstrate a strong aptitude related to representation;
